Toast Bread

Ingredients

  • 174g water
  • 125g whole milk
  • 21g granulated sugar
  • 5g yeast
  • 440g bread flour (or 340g flour and 100g whole wheat flour)
  • 8g fine sea salt
  • 36g unsalted butter softened

Directions

Mix the water, milk, sugar and yeast and let it rest for 10 minutes.

In a bowl add the flour and salt. Turn the stand mixer in low speed and pour the yeast mix. Turn it to medium speed and knead for 5 minutes. Add the butter and knead for 10~15 minutes.

Cover the bowl and let it raise for 1 hour.

Open the dough in a rectangle shape on a floured surface. Roll the dough and put it on a floured bread form. Let it raise fro 1 hour.

Pre heat the oven at 180°C and bake it for 30~40 minutes. Let it completely cool down before cut it.
